Jen Cubas is a commercial food and real estate photographer in Austin, Texas. For Jen, the significance of food and architecture go hand in hand. Her images tell stories that merge concepts of home, community, and environment. Her work influences her current art about change, transition, and search for "home". Through her images, Jen tells stories that raise questions and inspire her viewers. 

 

Jen has been published with many publications: Virginia Living, Edible DC, Brightest Young Things, Washingtonian, Washington Post, and Blacktie-DC. She has also photographed food and space for Fiola, Founding Farmers, Farmers Fishers Bakers, Mama Rouge, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema DC, Liberty Tavern, and many more.

 

She graduated with honors at The Art Institute of Washington Dulles with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Photographic Imaging. ​She also won the Best in Show Award at The Art Institute of Washington-Dulles Portfolio Show.
